KETV in Omaha did an interview with Zac Taylor, one of the greatest products of the Callahan Era.

Taylor has a message for the Huskers.

“Soak up every moment and embrace the fans,” said Taylor. “I think back and wish I could’ve traveled the state a little bit more. It truly is a great thing to play for all of those people. I wish I would've been able to meet more people and just travel out in the state and get more opportunities to affect more people.”

I know he's busy coaching, but it would be great to have him come back for a game. He'd get a hell of an ovation.

I always figured Zac would end up in coaching. He was a gamer. Tough as nails. Both mentally and physically. I think he'll be great as a coach.

Love me some Zac Taylor. Dude was total class, tough as nails, and had the devotion to match his talent. Wish we could have had him his entire career.

Truly, one of the toughest QB's to play at NU. He took some hits that I never thought he would get up from. And he always did.
