i think so......... it seems a lot of husker fans(i know several personally) don't appreciate what he did in his career as a husker.

Because Solich hung his hat and his career at Nebraska on Jamaal Lord. Lord was a great athlete, but a less than average decision maker on offense. Lots of yards, but many interceptions or fumbles to lose games. Never saw a pitch he wanted to make, unless the I-back was surrounded. A cancer to the team, couldn't wait to get away from Memorial Stadium (remember?).

He has contributed much to the current state of Nebraska football.
