After all this time Nebraska because of its state population, 1.7 million, must be able to recruit outside of its borders.

Nebraska has recruited so well in Texas,. but have we gotten those true difference makers from there.

Frazier was from Bradenton, Florida, Ralph Brown from Cally, Fryar, Peter Brothers from New Jersey and of course Crouch from Nebraska.

So true, the heart of Nebraska's teams have come from within, but lets face it, so many great players have come from all over. That's a great list, you can add mike brown from Az, Lawrence Phillips from Ca, The Wistrom Bros from Mo (of all places) and Bobby Newcomb from New Mex. Seems to me that you really can't say one state although I believe the HEART AND SOUL comes from Nebraska and it rubs off on the rest.
