Who else is looking forward to playing UCLA in '12 & '13?

Since Owa just committed there, I'm looking forward to seeing our OL compete against their highly ranked DL recruits from this class. Should be a really fun game to watch.

Jamal Turner said he'll be running laps around Owa in that game. Also Ryne Reeves, Moore, and ARod said they could pancake owa with 1 hand.

Should be a pretty good couple of games. It'll be great to see Owa here in Lincoln, even if he's wearing the wrong jersey.

Gotta wonder what impact Carnes will have at that point...nice little angle on that matchup if you ask me.

This series is going to be fun. Hopefully the class we signed this year will be motivated to play against him. :snacks:

BTW, I'm not bitter about Owa, FWIW. This thread wasn't meant to trash him, so please try and be respectful of his decision. He did what he felt was best for him and I wish him the best, except when he plays us in a couple years. I think it'll be a fun game to watch.

He'll regret his mom's decision in about 4 or 5 years when he goes undrafted. I can't see Rick the Prick or any of his staff getting players ready for the next level. When he was at CU, he took a tough hard nosed team and turned them into finesse playing pansies.

look what happened to Freeman and Gabbert... being on the wrong side of the ball can have some consequence.

maybe the comparison isnt the best, but the point is people we wanted who chose an inferior school get reminded why they should have been N!

You might want to choose different players next time. Freeman is a starter in the NFL, and he signed a 5 year contract worth 26 million. Do you really think under Clownahan's watchful eye he'd be anywhere even remotely close to where he is now? While it's still a bit early, it appears Gabbert is going to be really good. With the way our offense if evolving, neither of these two QB's would be suited to run it.
