Who had a worse day offense or defense?

This really could go either way. Both sides of the ball were absolutely pathetic, both sides of the ball knew exactly what Wisconsin was doing yet could not do anything about it. I would probably have to say the defense but the offense was not good today at all.

I would say offense. They probably get shut out without the turnovers. You have to be able to do something on o or it kills your confidence.

Neither were good. But we had a 17-3 lead, and our defense -- supposedly tough up front -- gave up 8 unanswered touchdowns and 408 yards to a single back.

Just let that sink in.

It's yet another new low.

Yeah, as pathetic as the offense was after the first quarter, there's no way they could've won with our record-setting defense. I don't think anyone saw a total defensive meltdown coming against a team that only passed for 46 total yards.
