Tough choice, Pedersen is the one who created this mess, but Perlman was his enabler and complicated matters further by handing SP an extension so I voted for him.

You have to blame the guy that bought in pederson and then the so called boosters that wanted a change in offensive philosophy that caused Nebraska to lose it's Identity.

Calihan is an NFL guy. I read a blog somewhere this week that the team seems to have adopted their head coaches demeanor and attitude, sort of an emotionless professional approach. That plays fine in the NFL but these are college kids and college football is all about emotion and getting up for your rivals.

Let's not go after the players in our criticism. They are playing hard and none of them are equipped to defend the status of a program with such a history and tradition. Steve Pederson decided he could trump that tradition by breaking the mold and creating it in what he thought was the best image. I am no football guy but I am a Nebraskan who has probably been a Nebraska fan longer than Pederson and I know that if someone doesn't do something soon, the great Nebraska football program will be gone.

I'm afraid it's to late.
