Mavric mentioned Merlene Ottey in the status update with this question. There's a pretty good argument to be made for her. Fastest woman in the world for a decade or so.

 
I am really surprised more people don't think Suh is. His speed, power, quickness, foot work all at his size is almost, if not, unmatched. To me right now it's really close between Suh and Burroughs.

 
Female: Mortise Ivy, I an not sure that is the correct spelling of her name.

Male: Straight up athletes Darin Erstad, Gerry Gdowski

Gordon- My son plays bball with a son of a MLB scout. I asked his opinion about the ease in which Gordon made the switch from 3b to LF. He said only a great athlete would make that switch so flawlessly on the mlb stage. Of course, AG was a bad 3bman so maybe that helped.

 
I forgot to add Ahman. What a bolt of lightening. In my mind you have to play more than one sport to be considered in the best athlete dialogue, which eliminates Suh.
