Thats a tough one at this point. The edge probobly goes to Glenn. But how can you count out Lucky?

Because Glenn is tried and true IMO. Outside that return at KU, Lucky hasnt shown me more than Glenn. Plus after watching the spring game, Glenn really impressed me. Plus i am Biased towards bruisers with speed, like Ahman Green. Glenn has plenty of wheels and can still make the moves. Just stating my reasoning, thats all. good problem to have.

I would have to say Cody Glenn. He is more experienced and, although I think Marlon will become a better running back, Cody can handle more carries. I still look for Marlon to have a good season and I hope Kenny Wilson can make an impact too!

both marlan and cody will get plenty of opportunities to show what they each can do. it all depends on the first to get into the grove of the game.

is the question total yardage (rush and pass) or is it just rushing yardage?

Headline:

"Leon Jackson plays season with chip on shoulder and proves his high school coach wrong and leads NU in Rushing"

...boy that's a long headline <_<

i said glenn for all the obvious reasons, but you can't count out lucky, kenny wilson is who i'm not sure on cuz we havent' seen him perform on this level yet, so putting another poll up around the season opener would be a good idea as well.

I put lucky although i was close to putting glenn, again i agree its tough.

I think that Lucky will have a couple big plays against a couple of the easier teams to put him over the edge, otherwise i think it will be close.

Totally agree with everything everyone said about Glenn but I just have this feeling that Lucky is going to be one hell of a running back don't know for sure obviously hope to see some great things out of these backs at the Texas game and the rest of the games!!!! :thumbs

If you watched the Spring game you can see which is a better back. I like what could happen if the ball is dumped off the Lucky or thrown to him...but if he has to run it where there is no hole...he will get nothing.

Glenn will run, period. He'll hit the holes...or make one.

Glenn will lead NU in rushing and seperate from the rest...

I understand what your saying there that Glenn is a smashmouth running back. Just a power runner. I see Lucky becoming a more versatile back he just needs to learn to be patient and see the holes if he doesn't see them he doesn't have the mentality or power IMO to make a hole. He is going to have to use finesse which some backs have to.

Leon Jackson, if for no other reason that he has something to prove.

what can i say? i like underdogs.

Leon is faster than Lucky. Fact.

Thats why Leon can run and line up at WR. He is in one of the fastest on the team. He will factor into the equation one way or the other.
