Who's eating the Runza-flavored ice cream?

Braums's, a regional ice cream store has stores within 250 miles of their big dairy farm (10,000 milking cows) just SW of OKC, is a favorite in Tulsa. I personally like the strawberry or blackberry version. They limit the miles from the dairy to keep their products fresh.

My first job in HS was working at a Braum's in Wichita. 😄

I hope you got ice cream as a free side benefit! Our son who lived in Colorado Springs for 10+ years would always stop at the first Braums he could find on his trip back to Tulsa - Salida, Ks. Then he moved to Asheville, NC - now the first Braums is Conway, AR - always gets the #3 which is the double cheeseburger. We did the tour of their farm and production plant by Tuttle, Ok. I see that they are no longer doing those. We toured pre-covid. The reason their ice cream and milk tastes so good is because they are higher in protein than most other brands as they squeeze out as much water as they can.

Ha! Nope, we only got a measly 10% off! And yeah, I lived in Salina for a while. And when I lived in Austin, I'd usually stop at the last Braum's in Hillsboro, TX (south of DFW) on my way home.
