Since i found this board and started reading it, I

noticed how negative our fan base has become.

We have split into two camps. One pro frank. One

pro bill. The pro frank will bash ever thing about

this program. From the playcalling,coaching,players,

wins,loses,yardege, just everything they can think

to rip.The pro bill will tell you just let it take time.

Bill hasn"t been perfect, but he hasn"t been very bad.

I listend to the post game last night and the guy said

the fans who live and die with the old way will never

like the new coach or ad. The anti bill fans want this

team to lose so the school can fire bill and steve.To me

as a fan of the FOOTBALL TEAM, a true fan would never

want to see his team lose, so the school can fire it's coach.

The haters wish the team wasn't 4-0 because deep down

inside they want this team to lose so bad that the school

can fire bill and steve. I root for the N on the helmet not

the coaches,AD,or the state.I will forever root for the

NEBRASKSA CORNHUSKER FOOTBALL TEAM .

 
i for one have complained about cally and coz in the past, and see some of my complaints still valid, but a number of them have been brought to rest....i am gald to say i was wrong about some of them, hell i am just so happy and proud of our guys and what they have had to absorb/learn, change and go through to get where they are today.......it has been a tough transistion for players and fans alike, but it is obvious to me these kids are dedicated and hanging in there and are listening to the coaches and not the media or us.....i take my hat off to these kids for all they have done to right the good ship Nebraska.....we should all be proud and try a little harder to stay positive and support them........

Your complaints were valid, as i shared many of those same viewpoints with you concerning the offense and whether they were playing with heart this year. You also questioned some of the play calling and the formations, but your complaints were just that, COMPLAINTS. Fans should be allowed to complain about certain players not doing their job or why we called a certain play, but i have never seen you question the integirty of the coaches and try to compare our coaching staff to prior ones like some people do.

The last two games the players have played their hearts out.

I am so proud of the football players right now.For what the

players have gone through the last two years(two head coaches

3 offensive and defensive corenaders) to see them run onto

the field at the end of the games and celebrate as a team makes

me think they are starting to become a team.It should be about

supporting this team but the fans still think its frank vs bill.

I have said a couple of times on this site, It was tom who won

us those 3 titles.Tom was 60-3 his last 63 games.Frank won us one

big 12 title in his 5 years.Some may bring up that 2001 season bcs

title game, but we didn't win the big 12 north or big 12 title.Everybody

knows the bcs is a joke.Tom is the legend not frank or bill.From this day

foreward, to me it is all about the players.Not the coaches,who recruited the

players,who was a better coach and so on.This bashing could go on forever.

Let's start talking more about the players who are giving their heart and

soul out there than the frank or bill debate.

I raise my glass to the 2005 NEBRASKA FOOTBALL TEAM !
