All-American
tl;dr
Just kidding. I'm pumped now.
Just kidding. I'm pumped now.
Considering what talent they had is now completely gone, and the mess that was made of that staff decision I think you are right on.Kansas will be in full-on meltdown mode by the time their bus rolls into Lincoln. We'll probably have to give them a jump start and a spare tire to get them on their way home again.
That program has disaster written all over it.
Remember these schedules are made years ahead, and the AD before TO was . . .Playing all those WEENIE teams before the Big XII games is why Nebraska can't win big games. If they played some half decent competion before the Big XII it would prepare them better. Of course Doc Sad Sack Sadler is way way worse the way he schedules WEENIES...
Ankrah, Cam Meredith and Eric Martin have me giddy for next year, along with returning guys like Dennard, Crick, Steinkuhler, Moore, Allen, Compton, Fisher, Amukamara, Dennard... the list goes on on defense.I'm excited to see Ankrah next year. From what I hear, he should be something else.
If we are even competent on offense next year, we'll be a top ten team all season long.
One note - Jake Locker is a Junior, and I haven't heard anything about him going pro. I would not be surprised at all to see him next year in Seattle.
The crazy/sad thing is that, If we have even have a glimmer of offense this year, I really think were sitting here waiting for a National Championship game.
VTech-Had it wrapped up.
TTech-They have no D. might have been able to survive shootout. Also at least 7 of their 31 points is taken away per pick six. 24 points is not hard.
Iowa State-Choke. No fumbling. Win.
Texas-Well. You all know how that went. Cant punch it in from the 10. OC or offense and we put it in for the win.
We seriously could have been NC contenders this year. I really feel like this was our year. Looking back, this team could be nearly unstoppable if we have a glimmer of O.
