hmm. seems to me they didnt score on that play. nobody will dare call out suh and company for not tackling the f'ing quarterback right in front of them.

that one play did not lose the game in my opinion. the series where NU went from scoring a touchdown to having to punt because of penalties was the reason the Huskers lost this game.

that is so true, we had a chance to put the game away and 4 STRAIGHT PENALTIES

I can't say the cover 2 was a good play call, because obviously it didn't work you for you guys.

But I will say this in Bo's defense (who, by the way, clearly has yall's program going in the right direction). It's been a running joke amoung Hokie circles that Tyrod cannot make the deep pass. In fact, earlier in the game dyrell roberts had a few steps on a corner and tyrod over threw him by 5 yards.

Seems to me that it was only logical at the time to force tyrod to make throws well down the field which he has never shown an ability to complete.

In the end however its a bit of a mute point. Regardless of what coverage was called, the safety absolutely has to be guarding Coale on the streak.
