Did anyone notice at the start of the game when they were going over Nebraska's starters on defense it had Will Compton listed at LB? I said :WTH Did Coach Pelini really burn his redshirt? After the game I checked the official stats on Huskers.com and it didn't have Compton listed as one of the participants.

Must have been the damn AV people messing around again.

Great game by Lawrence for his limited experience. I thought he and Dennard had two of the best tackles of the game. Actually wrapped up as they ran through the opponent. :bonez

No Compton this season.

Lawrence did very good as well as Denard. Experience will benifit both for next season. we will have Blue back next season too.

 
I wouldn't think that they would burn a redshirt this late in the season. I think the defense did a pretty good job today. I didn't get to watch the game, but just by looking at the stats and seeing the long pass play which counted for about a fourth of their yards, then we did pretty good in my eyes.

Yeah I saw that too and looked at my dad and we both said, "what the -u-k?"

 
Heard the same. Watching Pelini's post game video he was asked about linebackers and I thought he said they moved a safety into that position and he did a good job. Couldn't catch the name.

 
No way will they burn any more redshirts this year...it would be totally irresponsible both for the team and player. I think Bo would be called on the carpet if he did.

Yep, saw that. Everybody was checking the numbers to make sure he wasn't in the game. They shouldn't do that stuff to us, I almost had a heart attack!
