Will Crick Go Pro?

He's only a sophomore so you have to assume he's only going to get better. To tell you the truth I think all four of those guys up front Turner, Allen, Crick and obviously Suh will get a shot at the next level.

Crick has a good initial burst up field, but he needs to work on his hand work to keep linemen off of him. His open field tackling skills are pretty good. When he wraps someone they usually don't get away.

He has a lot of potential, but he is only a soph and he plays next to Suh. It is impossible to predict where he will(if he will) get drafted. Next season will give you a good idea.

I'm hearing that NFL scouts are almost more interested in Crick than Suh because of Cricks size.

So with Crick having the ability to go Pro this year do you guys think he might leave with a high stock and not let there be a chance of a let down without Suh next year.

No...he was an unknown commodity until middle of this year. He won't be considered a 'high' pick right now. Literally nowhere to go but up (barring a devastating injury).

He'll be lucky to get drafted before the 5th round if he goes after this season. He's still really young. Next season we can debate whether he'll leave after his junior year.

Also, I guess I need help on the higher interest in Crick because of his 'size'??? Crick is 6'6" and 285. Suh is 6'4" and 300. Guarantee the NFL puts a few pounds on him so they will virtually be the same weight. So, Crick's only 'advantage' would be a 2" difference? Not saying that Crick doesn't have wheels or a non-stop motor, but I'm pretty sure Suh has shown that he has a twin-turbo V-8 that doesn't missfire.

And please all who are Crick worshipers (are there any?). I'm not bashing him at all. I think our front 4 may be the best in the Nation. But really confused on why any scout would think he has any more potential upside than Suh. You can't get much higher than a forecasted #1 draft pick can you?!?!

Agreed, and I think he'll learn a ton from Suh staying for his Senior year. I don't see him going after his Junior year.
