Wonder Woman 1984

I hope the trash can joke doesn't turn into a bit of unintentional foreshadowing.

Also, was anybody else confused about how they reintroduced her love interest from the first movie? That's a pretty big bombshell to drop into a trailer and it wasn't done in any sort of suspenseful way. It was just like 'yup - he's back!'

 
Is this going to be a big hit?  I feel like the first one had some staying power in the theaters.

I also remember people getting mad that in the movie it was mentioned that wonder woman was "hot".

That seemed pretty odd to me as well.  Especially considering how he exited the first movie really didn't lend itself to escaping, let alone surviving and not aging for 70ish years.

However,

I did read that it may not be as it seems and may be attributed to the particular villain in the film.

I wondered if that may be the case. Everything seemed too jovial and simple based on the trailer.
