Woo-hoo...we finished 3rd in the Big Ten West

It was nice to see the team keep fighting today despite another year without a championship. Because they were able to come back, the Huskers were able to lock down 3rd place in the Big Ten West.

Okay, this wasn't exactly ha-ha funny.

This was Pelini in the halftime interview of the 2011 Capital One Bowl after South Carolina had hit a home run touchdown pass on the last play of the half to take a 16-13 lead.

What made the quote ultimately funny in the sense of being painfully inaccurate was how Nebraska was completely unable to recover from that blow, ultimately losing the game 30-13.

 
Seriously enjoy a freaking awesome back win, the kids are having a blast. Downplay everything, that was fun to watch, you turds.

 
Iowa did not beat a single FBS team that finished with a winning record. The win really means nothing. With the turnovers Iowa gave up in the first half, and the talent gap (that eventually took over and won the game) a good coaching staff curb stomps the Hawkeyes.

 
I think the team rallied for Bo. Does that mean he should stay? NO. But when/if we replace Bo we better find someone who the players will go all out for. I think the make or break for Bo will be if he will make staff changes or those on staff who step down or get jobs at somewhere special like Kansas
