World Series - Royals vs. Mets

Kansas City has been electric these last two weeks!

I hope this rain completely passes through before first pitch.

 
I have to say, I am worn out on baseball. I watched and listened to more baseball this year than I ever have.

On one hand I hope KC wins because they are a midwestern team. I't makes me puke when I think of possibly a NY team winning it.

However, if NY would win, at least the team that knocked the Cubs out won it.

I hear you on (most) NY teams. General rule of thumb is I root against them.

I literally have no idea how I became a Mets fan. No one else I know is a Mets fan. I have never been able to even come up with any possibilities why I'm a Mets fan. Just always have been.

I'm basically old enough that I could have watched them win the 86 series but I don't remember even watching it. I was a fan of Greg Jeffries (Mets second baseman) back in the day but I don't know where I came across him. I'm not sure he was even all that good.

Just always been odd to me. But I guess if I've stuck with them all this time, now is not the time to stop.

Eddie learned of his father's death on the way to Kaufman Stadium tonight. That's terrible for the young man.

 
Never knew you were a Mets fan Mav. Figured it out in the NLCS.
