i knew it was good , but i didnt realize we were 139 wins and 32 losses since 1993... Thats pretty good! Incase you are wondering , that is 81 percent win.. Just something to think about

At one point we were 63-3 in that time frame. That's 95.45%.

actually it was 66-3... So yeah, maybe that total number is a little helped.. BUT.. That doesnt change it... what a winning %!

 
that is why all of the teams were able to end long losing streaks during the down time. NU will always get any teams best effort and then pour it on when the Huskers were down.

NU is getting back on the right track, I think that 66-3 is going to be hard to match or beat.

And ESPN has the intelligence to compare the Trojans to us? from 01-05 aren't they like 54-10? And no where near the domination that Nebraska had.

 
well to give USC some credit, right now they are something like 46-2 over the last 4 years. they have a chance but will have to win out this year and next year in order to do it. i dont think that they will win the rest of the games this year, they still have UCLA, CAL, and ND right????

then they have to come into Lincoln and win and i am like Stevie Wonder with that one, I just cant see it.

That is dominance at its finest. We had the chance to realisticaly win 5 straight titles in the 90s, but "only" got 3. :lol:

 
Loosing 3 games in 5 yrs is unheard of. It never happend before us and I can't see it happening in the future. You would have to develope and have severiously good luck with 3 poss 4 recruiting classes. Teams do not dominate like that and won't again. With the scolli limits imposed and the NCAA working on parity in College Football, I don't see this happening ever again. Osbourne got 250 wins faster than any coach in college football in history (if I remember correctly). Not a hell of alot of top ranked athelets either. This is why you LOVE the huskers or Hate the huskers, there are not alot of inbetweens.

You know what is amazing? After Tom Osborne's 20th season, he was 195-46-3, and 5 short years later he was 255-49-3. That is incredible and will never happen again.

It is spelled Osborne.

 
yeah and it him what 20 years to win his first title we should give BC that kind of a chance unless we don't have wa winning season year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year
