I don't want to see any tears when this offense destroys yours. This was easy.
$1 – Taylor Martinez
$4 – Ahman Green
$3 – Joel Makovicka
$5 – Johnny Rodgers
$2 – Quincy Enunwa
$3 – Matt Herian
Martinez - holds 30+ school records. Better passer than any of the other five.
Green - within a gnat's a$$ the quality of Rozier or Phillips. If I had the $$$ I'd have chosen Rozier, but Ahman Green as a "consolation prize RB" is pretty damned good.
Makovicka - With Makovicka blocking for the above two, look for 100 yard games for both on a regular basis.
Rodgers - this was my one luxury pick. The man was like mercury on an oiled surface - it wasn't about trying to tackle him, it was about trying to get a finger on him. Pass catcher & punt returner. Worth the money.
Quincy Enunwa - as we saw last year, he can stretch the field and he can be a possession receiver. Opposite Rodgers, he's terrifying. Undervalued at $3. WAY undervalued at $2.
Herian - pre-injury Herian was every bit as good as Miller or Mitchell, and he was a hell of a blocker. On the same field as Enunwa & Rodgers - you don't have a backfield that can cover these guys.
Look at the cheapest team you could put together with this list:
$1 – Taylor Martinez
$1 – I.M. Hipp
$1 – Dan Alexander
$1 – Jeff Makovicka
$1 – Jon Bostick
$1 – Aaron Golliday
That right there is a scary offense.
