Thought this would be fun to do here in the offseason. I saw this poll on USA today, I added Nebraska, OU, Louisville, and one other team though. :)

BTW, I voted Nebraska, not only because I wear extremely rose colored glasses, but because I think if we can pull off an upset Sept. 15th, the schedule sets up nicely.

my heart say to vote NU, but my head wont let me until after we play a few games.

NU will not start high enough in the polls to pull it off with out a undefeated season. any loss through out the year and NU drops in the polls like a rock. If NU was to beat USC and lose a very close game to UT and then win the Big 12 championship big then there might be a chance for a 1 loss NC.

I voted for the other, I dont know who it will be but I believe that each of the teams on that list lost players that will keep them all from going undefeated.

Hell Arkansas might just win the SEC and represent in the NC game

Puh-lease. This is obviously the breakout season for the Buffaloes. Those guys play some real tough football down in Boulder. Watch out! If they can pull off a Sept. 1st victory against CSU, it could be a long road ahead for all their '07 opponents.

Did you seriously put Ohio on this list? I'm pretty sure its impossible for a MAC school to win a national championship. Unless you meant Ohio State who realistically doesn't have much more of a chance than Ohio this year anyways. :)

I voted for Nebraska, though I don't think this is our year, they have just as good a shot as any team on there at this point. However from what I've read on other boards if Scary Smart doesn't win the national championship this year the whole thing is rigged. <_<

I voted for LSU. Florida will be down a bit, Auburn might be down a bit, and Arkansas has it's own problems. There are a few trap games, but they have all of their tough games at home(Virginia Tech, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas).

I voted other. I don't exactly have a prediction but I don't think any of those teams will make the National Championship.

Yes I put Ohio, you know Frank's team on the list. It was a joke... Maybe I should have tried to put :sarcasm in the poll choice line. Hey they have one vote so far! :o

I voted Ohio because Frank Solich was the best coach ever at Nebraska, and he was wrongfully terminated, and he is a fantastic recruiter, and I like the option, and I like the Ohio uniforms and he is destined to turn that program around, and he is obviously an offensive genius, and he has little yellow teeth that are bearly observable since he doesn't seem to smile much...which is really cool if you're a coach, and all those rumors about him having an affair while he coached here were unfounded because Frankie is a standup guy and I am sick of slanderous vile people putting Frankie down, and did you know that once his alcoholic drink was spiked with a date rape drug because there is no way in hell that Frank would be the type of guy that would drink and drive, and the University of Nebraska will never achieve the heights that it once had because the program is cursed after dismissing Solich.....did I mention that he was greatest option coach ever at Nebraska?

Oops you forgot this....... :sarcasm

Nebraska all the way, even though USC and possibly UT have better athletes than we do, both teams lost to teams they "should'nt" have last year.(Oregon State and KSUcks) Besides, the margin between us and the best in the country is smaller than most want to give us credit for. :restore
