Cincinnati Week Pressers

No OR, Lateef listed as the #2 QB. No idea how they are handling the ORs now - they used to alphabetize them and have downplayed the order, but not sure how Nwaneri gets listed above Lenhardt by anything other than merit which is cool to see. Jeudy over RVP at NT has to be due to seniority, they're both going to play a lot but I'd assume RVP will play more. No other huge surprises, although I would also think the loser of the LT battle would play RT.

Not surprised at QB.

Going into camp, I would have been very surprised that Pritchet was third on the depth chart.

Most media guys were not expecting Nwaneri to start. If he can/is living up to his potential, that is a game-changer for the defense.
I posted earlier that this was the guy they need to be an animal and I glad to see he is listed as the starter. Sometimes coaches and fans make such a big deal out of "nothing", like one guy will say something, "Well, he just needs to listen to what the coaches are telling him"

All of a sudden the lame fans think the kid is a bad kid with an attitude problem.

Then those labels stick and the kid is ruined (Sort of what they are doing to the tackle that transferred from Bama)

Just let the Texasing good dudes play, sometimes maybe it is the coaching style and coaching attitude that causes issues.

If you can't find a spot for a 6'7 260 DE freak...you might be the problem.

Also, Brix at RG (as opposed to T) is somewhat disappointing. Although it might be more of a "get the best guys on the field" thing - he's the only Frosh in the two-deep.
Not sure if he would be there if Pyle didn't get hurt.

False starts and needing to understand the different protections were mentioned as things Pritchett needs to work on. Rhule did also say Gottula has been flipping sides some, so I do think the ideal is Pritchett at LT and Gottula at RT. Holgorsen in particular really hates procedural and assignment errors though and I think they feel pretty good about Gottula at LT and Prochazka/Knaak at RT.
