YSU issues statement on Pelini's controversial Nebraska rant

I wouldn't make any assumptions about Youngstown just because they are FCS with a small stadium, etc. They may not be Nebraska-level fanatic, but they won 4 National Titles in the 90s while TO was winning his. Winning 9 or 10 games is not a foreign concept to them. They have been under the radar for a little while, but their fans are far from complacent. The coach they just fired had a winning record and they gave him 4 years. Not a stellar record, but a winning one. They want championships.

Also, Bo is a good coach, but let's not just assume he will find success there easily. YSU is in one of the toughest FCS conferences, and he won't be playing those teams with Nebraska-level talent. I think Bo will do fine, but let's not just spot him the 9 wins just yet.
