YSU issues statement on Pelini's controversial Nebraska rant

Except he's right that, if Bo keeps winning, and learns a little bit about his demeanor/actions he'll get another shot at a good school. I'm not defending Bo (I'm actually developing film now to change my avatar), I'm just saying that he'll get another shot; should he choose to accept it.

Stopped reading at " dennis dodd"

Guve me a cliffs notes. Am i wrong?
I'm not sure which of his articles was linked here but none of them are worth reading. According to his tweets he thinks people are upset about Bo using bad words and thinks that's ridiculous. This coming from a guy who has gotten upset in the past when someone dropped a '*******' in an interview on TV.

I hate that I even know this but I was bored this afternoon waiting on some scripts to run.

I look forward to the pressure cooker that is the southern Ohio media making the national perception of YSU better than the local one.
Lets let Springsteen teach you a bit about geography:

Here in northeast Ohio
Back in eighteen-o-three
James and Dan Heaton
Found the ore that was linin' Yellow Creek
They built a blast furnace
Here along the shore
And they made the cannonballs
That helped the Union win the war

Here in Youngstown
Here in Youngstown
My sweet Jenny I'm sinkin' down
Here darlin' in Youngstown

As for the local perception of YSU, it will always be better better than the national perception.

i really wonder how that conversation between bo and tressel went.

was bo defiant? did tressel commensurate with him, or try to set some boundaries?

Well my daddy come on the Ohio works

When he come home from World War Two

Now the yard's just scrap and rubble

He said "Them big boys did what Hitler couldn't do."

These mills they built the tanks and bombs

That won this country's wars

We sent our sons to Korea and Vietnam

Now we're wondering what they were dyin' for

"Coach Pelini's remarks as reported are inappropriate and unfortunate. We have discussed the report with coach. We are confident that Coach will conduct himself accordingly moving forward.
Sounds pretty familiar.

Nothing else Youngstown could say...I mean I don't think that would be enough to fire him with cause. Gotta stick behind your new guy...you're committed/screwed and there's nothing you can do about it.

Pelini better tone it down a notch. Or his next stop might be high school ball. If any high school would have him, that is.

No, his next stop might be taking anger management class from Ray Lewis on Spiketv

His entire career is hanging on this job. If this one ends similar, he won't get another one.

Good luck with that.

I don't know... I could see him going the Chucky route and doing some color commentary. Pretty charismatic guy.. Not awkward in front of the camera.. Has a catch phrase, "at the end of the day." I'd watch
