A great game today by the defensive backfield especially Bowman. For the first time he didn't look out of place, he made tackles, and competed without thinking about everything he was suppose to do.

You can certainly account some of our pressure and sacks on the coverage

 
I agree, he definitely played his best game today. Hopefully the first in a long line of great games he will be playing :)

 
I loved the blitzing on the road. We finally went back to what worked at the beging of the yr.

I noticed the same thing. Bowman was all over the feild. He looked GREAT!

 
I think your right Eric, we went with alot of man coverage today and challenged their receivers to beat us, and Bowman took to it like a fish to water. He was the best athlete out on the field today and he knew it. He was captain velcro today, and if he was wearing a little stickum, he would have been rewarded with a pick or two.

 
i'm hoping years from now when there is retrospective on the dark days of Nebraska football on NPT, they'll point to this game and say *this* is where it all turned around. And where Nebraska began its road to a National championship in 2007.

 
there is no question that this COULD BE the turning point......even the kids were excited about their success, you could see it in how they were moving on and off the field....we really need to follow this up with a good performance in our bowl game, win lose or draw, if we play this hard and execute this well, we should be competetive with our opponent......a good solid performance in a bowl will carry over for recruiting and momentum for next season.....it is very important we play well in our bowl game.......very important

fairly easy to play defense when you know they aren't going to throw more than a 7 yard pass and that it will be to a tight end.
