BTN on Dish Network?

All-Conference
I have been hiding out for awhile, but now I hear there is some sort of dispute between BTN and Dish Network. I dont see anything on the board concerning this but maybe I'm not digging hard enough. Any insight would be helpful.

I called DISH this morning. The rep I spoke with was unaware that BTN was being pulled tommorow. How could they Not know?Time to look for a new cable provider.

Come on over to Direct TV I can get your 10 off your bill for the first 10 months. And you get me 10 dollars off also.

Unfortunatley $10/mo isnt enough to get me to come back to Directv. The clunkiness and unuserfriendlyness of their system isnt worth it to me.

Hmm I dont mind there system at all. I can program in so only my Favorite channels show up and none of the one I dont have show up so I guess I dont see it but to each is there own.

I thought they got a deal done?

Dish and BTN have reached a short term agreement and will continue to work on a long term one. Good news to start my gameday! GBR!

The short term agreement was only for a week while they negotiated a long term contract. Supposedly the negotiations stalled, but I sure they have picked it back up in the final day.

This will get resolved sooner rather than later. The amount of customers that would be lost in the Midwest if too much for dish to lose in this dispute. As far a the disclaimer on the B1G nice bargaining ploy.

Hasn't gone dark yet. The crawler along the bottom still says Dish will drop BTN on Sept. 8, but Im still getting the replay of the Boise-MSU game. Maybe they finalized something or the night shift forgot to pull the plug...

The banner will disappear if they agree.

I still have it also as of 12:15 a.m. Wonder if Dishes's day starts though with the live stuff in the morning?

I just recently changed to Direct TV and it's been a nice change! I only have the Choice package so I won't be able to see the UCLA game at home but there is a bar nearby so no skin off my teeth. Hopefully this is the only game on Fox

I have DISH and they seem to have ongoing problems with stalled negotiations, not only now with BTN, but with other program networks. It seems like every few months, DISH cancels programming for awhile due to failed negotiations. After my current contract expires with DISH, there's a great chance I'll switch to DirecTV.
