Dear Lord the Games we play thru life, we ask the refs are fair.

That our defense tackles alright, or we might pull out our hair.

Since we should win, we'll say that we knew that everything will be alright.

If we should lose, then heads should roll, and coaches should all resign.

Win win win, or we will get bitter. If we do get beat, everybody off the bandwagon!

 
Dear Lord, you have imbued us with the drive to do better.

We are pretty darn mediocre right now.

You have given us the ability to improve.

We will do that.

Amen.

 
Dear Mythical Sky Being:

Since I am an atheist I do not believe in you, so take a hike.

And I wonder how people can believe in an all powerful entity that spends time fretting over college football.

When did this turn into an appropriate time to bash religion? Youre an atheist, great. But that sure as hell doesn't give you the right to come in bashing Christianity or any other religion in a thread that's not even really about religion, no less. Get a life.
