BTN on Dish Network?

Glad you all got your Dish ch worked out. I get to record it. BECAUSE one of the grand kids had the audacity, to be born on this date. So off to a birthday party I go. :facepalm:

Glad they got this worked out. I got tickets to the game for free..... Now I'm tempted to sell them, stay home and watch it at home.

 
Well, it is a win-win for me. I called The Dish last week and bitched about the BTN being dropped and told them I was going to switch to Direct TV. The Dish then lowered my bill from $132/mon. to $88/mon. life is good.

I'm almost dissapointed they made the agreement.

I was all set to call them today to see what more I could get.

Last month I got my dish replaced and a new receiver with DVR..The sports package free SkiniMAX channels..they asked if there was anything else I wanted..I mentioned I wish I could see (or trade a bunch of channels for) SCI, Animal Planet, so they gave me the 200 package free..$65/Mo with no commitment .

(the commitment part was almost the deal breaker on their part, but I'm thinking of going UHF after College Football season is over)..

Some people. Birthday parties can wait a day or two. So can frickin weddings. I missed the 300th sellout to be in a wedding.

 
for the few times i watch BTN i would be happy without as long as my bill stayed the same. It better not go up. I can always go to a bar and watch the game.

Especially in this state where the majority of people plan things like vacations, holidays, weddings around Nebraska football.

I've missed 3 games in my life due to weddings, and all 3 instances made it known i was not happy about it. I have vowed that it will never ever happen again. there are 52 weekends in a year. There are 13 games, including a possible conf. champ game. Use some common sense.
