I Support T-Mart

I support Taylor because he is a Husker, but I wouldn't hesitate to give another QB a shot in games like last night. Why not? We need to accept the fact that we are an average Big 10 football team.

This isn't a "bad game". It's a pattern.

He's a talented player but none of it means anything if you give away free points to the opposition with the frequency that he does. He needs to be smarter. Or taught better. Or both.

I'll say I support him for the most part, he is our starting QB and he gives it all.

That said, this is pretty much the way I feel about him too (with a minor edit)

To put it in baseball terms, Tmart is a career .216 hitter that hits alot of home runs. He has his bonehead moments and then makes up for it. He also needs a gameplan designed so that he runs, not passes. He is a running back first

 
Martinez is not the problem. He made some bad throws, but he did everything he could to keep us in the game. The lack of defense and the punt returrn TD killed us.

 
TMART is terrible considering that Nebraska is suppose to have the smartest fan base I am puzzled why so many support this guy. Come on people if you can't take care of the ball you can't play QB period that is rule number 1 of football. When you learn RULE NUMBER 1 of football we will open back up this discussion. I am done talking about this pathetic QB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 
Defense is also a problem this football team does not have just one problem it has several glaring problems and one of them IS TMART!!!!!!!!!!

 
I'd like to know who are you going to put in to replace Martinez -- Kellogg? Armstrong?
