Misconception on the Robinson injury

The idea that Steinkuler fell on top of DR is just not true. The only thing that came down on DR was Baker's arm. The cause of the injury rests soley on the shoulders of the injured player.

I thought I remember announcers saying that Baker fell on his elbow, re triggering that injury.
The announcers were saying that they didn't have 300-lb linemen falling over them but it didn't even look like a particularly vicious hit, and that he just came down on his hand I guess, harder than it looked, or in a weird spot. I think it was clear they weren't pinning it on a hit from any of the Husker players.

Yeah, he barely got touched as he went to the ground. Announcers said something about someone landing on him, but they were wrong. Case closed.

In the 3rd quarter one of the announcers said Stein knocked Robinson out of the game, but they were saying idiotic things all night.

I don't care if it was Stein or not. The fact of the matter is that it is football and things are going to happen like that. On a sidenote, Dennard should have been able to still play, dude cant throw anyways.

i could care less. Your a running QB you get hurt. some times it the D's fault, a lot of times it your own.

It's the risk he, miller, martinez and gray all take.

What a vadge.

I'm tired of hearing about how tough the guy is. He's on the ground crying several times per game.

You want tough? Taylor Martinez is a tough sumbitch.

I can see I need to watch the broadcast of this game ASAP. Sounds like lots of stuff went on that I couldn't get from the stands.

I'm particularly interested in watching Michigan's last "scoring drive," wherein they were handed 50-something yards on penalties. At the end of the third quarter they had generated a whopping 6 yards of offense in the second half, and yet scored, on a drive starting in their own territory.
