What did we learn?

We also learned that whoever picked NU over MSU 28-24 is a genius--a veritable demigod among men. And probably very well endowed too. LINK

That game was horribly officiated both ways. You really can't be happy with the officiating if you're a MSU or NU fan.
I don't know. Only two really bad calls stick out in my mind; the Stafford hit out of bounds and the PI on MSU in the endzone.

1. Still too many penalties.

2. Still too many turnovers. 3 more interceptions today.

3. O-Line really needs to step up and provide better pass protection.

  1. this team will not give up even if the ref's are horrible.
  2. T-Mart is a flat out stud running the ball.
  3. Our Blackshirts have come a long way since the beginning of the year.

I learned that it must be kind of hard to enjoy Husker football if you're the kind of person that runs to their computer at the half to complain.

1) Pelini and I agree. We have both aged 40 years watching this team.

2) Msu got screwed.

3) We are our own worst enemy.

4) Happy for Mr. Turner. First TD and it's a game winner. Good for him.

That this team is a sleeping giant of physicality and mental toughness second to none. And when we get our bullcrap together and start playing clean 60 minute games, the Big 10, and maybe the country for that matter, is f'd.

We continue to try to piss games away against inferior teams.

We need to be a LOT smarter

BUT

Our team has a ton of heart and some giant brass balls.

A buddy of mine at work also picked that score. Like you, he's also a braggart. So I'm sure I'll hear about it on Monday.

This team has no quit. On the flip side, this team doesn't seem to understand that they can also play the first 50 minutes of each game.

TM simultaneously sucks and is awesome.

The defense has seriously turned around the past 3 games, although occasionally there are flashes of same abysmal tackling we saw in the first 4.

Maher has a serious case of the yips.

My heart appears to be in working order with the workout it gets every week watching this team.

this.
