Alternate Unrivaled unis

I would love to buck tradition on the uni's. It's the 21st century and time to get with it. I to would like to see the "N" removed from the front and a number put there. Those uni's are badass and its time for a change. Just think if we would have stuck with the original uni's and never evolved. We would look stupid right now, kinda like the Steelers and their throwback crap.

Tradition. What is that really? Does that really involve uniforms?
We have a traditional look that doesn't go out of style. These XXXTREME uniforms are a temporary trend and they're gonna look f'ing stupid in 5-10 years.
Your so right. Our traditional look will always be the best. When I walk by a TV and see our regular jerseys, I know right away who it is, and that's the way it should be. Okl St, T Tech, come out in the all black and some others as well. You have to stop and try to see the logo's, or find the box score. Our all red ones are even worse. If they feel they have to add a little change here and there, then the school needs to make sure that Scarlet and Cream make up 50% of what ever they have the team wear. jmho

GBR!!!

I agree. Know who else I can instantly recognize when I see them on tv? Oregon and Maryland.

For something different...Wear the alt. jersey and put the cursive " Huskers " on the side of the helmets instead of the N.

No... No..No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes....... I like that idea it would only be for one game anyways
Personally I like the simplicity of the N. To me the N sells Nebraska. But that's just me. When it comes to football, I'll take the N.

I'd definitely be down with those being the alternate unis. Never was a big fan of the big N with the small numbers, but I can dig the black/red color combo once in awhile.

That said, I don't see any reason to change the regular uniforms. Yeah, they're simple and haven't changed that much over the years. Who cares?
