To be fair, none of those SEC schools were giving him a chance at RB. Their scholarship was only for him as a DB. If I remember correctly it was only Auburn and Tennesee that offered him from the SEC

I wasn't arguing what position. The guy made it sound as if he wasn't good enough to play football in the SEC.
