What did we learn

walksalone

Heisman Trophy Winner
1. No hangover from B1G championship game

2. Ran the ball well, had the D line suckin' wind

3. D got beat a few times by over pursuing

4. T-Mart being Jekyll and Hyde once again

5. Rex Burkhed, showing the "NFL prospect" laden Georgia D, that he can play

6. A. Murray might be the best QB in D1

7. We hung with a team that everyone thought was going to blow us out

Damn, watching that I said to myself: I'm watching Rex, because this is his last play. Unfortunately, that was the case...

And good game skers.

That this will be the norm as long as Pelini is head coach. 10 wins/year, terrible post-seasons. Never being able to take it to the next level.

of course i wanted to win.... and BADLY... im sure someone in some thread will disect the game better than i can and talk about all the things we did wrong or whatever but over all i was happy that we played pretty good and didnt just roll over... i think we had some fatigue but im happy we kept it respectable.....

Defense needs some serious work/recruiting in the off-season. 31 points NEEDS to be enough to win games if we want to be successful

That Husker fans will talk about how they'll be happy as long as we keep it close and then complain when we do...

Nothing we didn't know already.

A season of failure has come to a close. Turnovers, penalties, embarrassing O-line play, shaky QB play, miserable special teams, no defense to speak of, and an unshakable tendency to meltdown on the big stage when it matters most.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 2012 Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Damn proud of this team! And Martinez... I don't care what some people say, that kid is one tough sob. Fought til the end and gives nothing but his all. This offense has been getting better and better every year. Lets clean up this defense, gets some recruits, and get ready for next season. Go Huskers baby!

like i always say...nothing really...been the same program for 3 years now. havent been able to seem to get better since 09.

good competitive game for 3 qtrs tho....enjoyed it.

  • Rex will play in the NFL.
  • The NU offense is good. Played well (except for turnovers) against one of the toughest Ds in CFB.
  • Bo Pelini is not a defensive genius. Every year he has had games where the D collapsed, even his National Championship year at LSU. When he doesn't have superior athletes he resembles Cosgrove.
  • NU does not practice special teams.
  • TM learned how to learn forward and go down below the defensive player to avoid taking a hit and risking a fumble.
