Sounds like Oregon's OC would be in line to take over so he might see a promotion if that happens. Either way, there is no place for him on the staff full time here unless someone leaves and I would be willing to bet he does not want to make a lateral move so that would mean Beck is gone.

I don't think they live in NE anymore. otoh, I'm sure they'd love to see him as head coach someday--both of them being UNL alumni.

I'd like to see Frost come back to the Huskers. But I'm not sure there's a spot for him just now.

Which is probably why he said "someday" rather than right now. He'll be a coordinator, if not a HC, elsewhere before he ever gets the opportunity to come back to Lincoln as a coach.

I don't know everything when it comes to Nebraska football, especially behind the scenes things during the 90's and early 00's.

I know Scott Frosts parents currently live in Nebraska. A friend of mine, his wifes parents live next door to them down by Ashland, NE.

They just took possession of his old house in Lincoln again. They had been renting it out for a couple of years.
