Do you think Lou belongs on this list? Serious question.Lou never took over a team with a winning record nor failed to take them to a bowl in his second year. And that was before there was a godaddy.com hosting 6-6 teams.Holtz is another guy that did little at most stops, but got a Natty at the one school that he was able to inheret quality players. Didn't win much at Ark, Minn, S Carolina, and then bitched that he couldn't recruit players he wanted at ND after winning Natty with the fomer coaches players. That and because he's got great one-liners has kept him employed at ESPN.
Not at all...Do you think Lou belongs on this list? Serious question.
Boom. When I voted, I knew there was a name listed but couldnt recall who it was. Thank You.I don't like Snyder not being on there.
:yeahCoaches like Devaney, Snyder, Bowden and Utah Meyer took over losing programs and changed the culture completely. Guys like Osborne, Saban, Switzer and Florida/OSU Meyer inherited football powerhouses already up and running. Longevity and numbers count for something, but taking the same raw materials another coach failed with and immediately turning them into a winner is always more impressive to me.

So get off Bo's a$$ people!
When they all have coached as long as they did, winning percentage tells the story..... Dr. Tom #1....
Yeah I do because the article is just a popularity contest which explains how Bo Shemblecker got on the list. Because they didn't give us any criteria, we're free to make up our own. I'll just multiply everyone's win total by their grad rate before adding in their total number of good jokes.Do you think Lou belongs on this list?
