I believe husker hounds in Omaha sells it. They have ALOT of game dvds in their online storefront. You can even buy whole seasons. If you want to spring $200+

I voted ........ Nebraska was too good all the way around. I still recall the game and it was not even a question at the time or now what team was more dominate.

 
When will the ESPN gang analyze these results? I want to see Kirk Herbstreit throw another tantrum about the online voting of Husker fans. hehehehe I can't wait! He might squirt a few tears on this one.

 
We were a better overall team, we had played tougher competition, and we were playing Tom Osborne's last game.

Not only would we have beaten Michigan, we would have rolled them.

Just ask Tennessee, a team that featured Peyton Manning, Peerless Price, Terry Fair, Jamal Lewis and Trey Teague.

I think that UT had Leonard Little and Al Wilson as well.

I have all of the big 90's games on VHS. I need to get those on DVD. One of my favorite moments in Husker history has to be the 4th quarter of the Miami game.

That UT team had to have had more NFL players overall than Michigan. They were very fast and loaded.

When I think of that game I also get images of Wistrom pulling down Manning just as he releases his passes. Didn't he have something like 109 total yards for the game??

The guy graduated from Northwestern, so he is a Big Ten homer. And kicking the ball while the play is still live is apparently cheating. I mean are you f'ing kidding me?

 
It's pretty simple. Nebraska played the #3 team in the country, Tennessee, with Peyton Manning, Peerless Price, and a host of future NFL stars on their roster. We destroyed them.

Michigan ducked out of the national championship game - not entirely their fault, but they contributed to the decision - because the Big Ten and Pac-10 felt the Rose Bowl was more important than joining the Bowl Alliance. In their little Rose Bowl game with everything on the line, they barely beat Ryan Leaf and.... nobody else. No other star or even decent player was on that Wash. State roster. And they eked out a win, and they claim their title was "better?"

They can keep their little 11th-grade shop class wooden plaque that says "National Champions" on it. It's a bone we can throw a team that hasn't won anything of significance in 70 years.

We'll take the giant crystal trophy, though. That's the real trophy, the trophy the real champ gets, and it's sitting in our trophy case as I type this. I'll go down to the stadium and take a picture of it if this writer wants to see what a real trophy looks like.
