ISU game on abcHD?

It is not going to be on here in okc. Our cable company has not reached a deal with our ABC affiliate and doesnt have the rights to show the game in hi-definition.

In OMaha, it probably won't. Unless you have satellite.

Even then, will it be shot in true HD? Maybe, maybe not.

 
Only Cox Cable isnt broadcasting the HD version. There are havinbg a pissing match with the station's owner over money. satalite, qwest will have it, you can also get it for free if you have a TV set up with an HD antena

Not real sure.

I remember when KMTV had their spat, I read the website they had up about it. To me, they were basically saying "Cox can make more money, so they should pay more for our signal." Seriously, they started talking about how Cox has "multiple revenue streams". Why should any company have to pay more for something than it's worth?

I don't know if this is the same kind of thing, but hey, it's still retarded.

 
Cox keeps getting mad because they if they carry more hd, they have to charge more, which is causing them to lose customers. I have DirectTV and I think it's awesome. Don't have HD though, hopefully I can get it soon.

 
Got a post card in the mail today from Cox.

They basically say they have offered what they deem fair to them and their customers, but Hearst-Argyle has refused. Essentially making Cox, and thus their customers, pay millions of dollars for a signal that anyone could get over the air with an HD antenna.

Bad part The ISU game is regional DAMN DAMN DAMN What about us Left Coasters??????????? :steam
