calling it a close game too....

good, I don't want to underestimate Iowa State.

It seems evertime we start talking on this board about winning...we don't do as well as we had hoped.

We talked a lot of smack about beating USC, and we lost. We talked smack about beating KU and we didn't play at all to the top of our game.

We talked nice about Nichols, Troy and Louisiana...even posted threads about how we shouldn't underestimate Troy State or that Nichols State has a good rushing attack. Even though in the back of our heads we all figured we'd win big...we just didn't say it out loud. Maybe we were trying to be nice to the underdog teams.

So don't jinx it!! Don't understimate Iowa State...let's all assume they're going to give us everything they've got and it'll be a great game. Nebraska seems to play better when their the press and the fans think they're the underdog.

It is time for the Huskers to end some losing streaks on the road. Lets start with the clones this weekend and then KSUcks the next weekend.

 
sporting news might be the worst pickers ever. i remember looking in the magazine last year and they would miss 3 out of 4. this might be like the SI cover... i say its good luck.

 
We'll do our talking on the field come Saturday!!! I hope we win, but I think it's going to be a shootout........ :restore
