Philly does have a good team now. Rangers need someone like Jaromir Jagr again. I don't follow the Avs.

Av's have been hurting since Sakic and Roy left. They've been less than mediocre since then. I also like the Wild and even happier that Parise is on a team that I don't hate...

 
What teams does everybody root for?

I've been a Penguins fan since I was a little kid, mostly due to the NHL 94 video game for Sega Genesis.

Kinda hard being a hockey fan out here in Western NE. It's rarely on TV unless you buy Center Ice

I am a band wagon Red Wings fan, jumped on in the 90's...it's been a good ride.

 
Pens fan since childhood as well. Finally got to see my first live game last year before the NU-PSU game. It was freaking awesome! I get center ice every year and hardly miss a game.

 
Was a Rangers fan until they signed Lindros, then burned both my jersey's in the drive way, the Av's and the Wild...

I despise the Devils, Flyers, Penguins, Red Wings, Vancouver, and the Stars..

I also am a college hockey fan, ND Fighting Sioux

For those of you that have NBC Sports as a part of your cable lineup, they have what they're calling "Rivalry Wednesday". A couple teams that have beefs, and hoping fireworks ensue...

Yeah, to me, one of the big mistakes the Avs made was letting Chris Drury get away. I think Drury could have been (and to me was) the heir apparent to Sakic for captain, but for some reason, the Avs didn't think they could keep him. They need to get their head back to where they can get the guys in to compete again. Hopefully, that'll be sometime in the near future.
