Who (and when) will be our first 2014 commit????

I will try to guess on an easy one, D.J. Foster, on April 7th. Other guesses?

I just know Newell has visited 2-3 times, and loves it here. I also know he loves South Carolina, I was just throwing out a guess.

 
Not sure, but with the momentum from the 2013 class and hopefully a breakout year this year, i think we have potential to land one of our best classes yet, maybe even top 10. The prospects are out there, and a lot of good ones near by, let's get to work!

I think it would be somewhat confusing since I believe ADS is the artist formally known as aspeedin and not Knapp

If the team can get over the top on the field and get a conference championship, or at least a BCS appearence somehow, the flood gates could open. We're right on the cusp as it is.

 
I'd say Newell in late April/early May. Foster won't commit early, he may not commit until late this year or even carry it into next year IMO.

 
I don't want rushed or pressured commitments. I want solid commitments. better for a prospect to go through the process and commit. And no way Foster commits any time at all this summer. He could come up with a list, but not much more than that. I have a feeling he will do the official visits and commit after his senior season. If wants that Alabama offer that bad he needs another year of film work for them to study....and I doubt that offer will ever come.

i agree but so many kids are committing during the summer or early in the season that if you dont have a handfull of recruits committed by the start of the season nebraska might be in trouble i hope that nebraska can get some of the near by recruits to commit early since they should already be more familiar with nebraska than kids from other states

I'm talking about a player taking a single visit and committing and not doing anything else and then Jan. comes around and they hop on the plane for visits (aka McWilson....cold feet syndrome).
