Did anyone else see Eliason yelling at the student section during a timeout in the first half?

It sounded like he threw an F-bomb at them

One of the best things about Smiles is how he continually congratulates and thanks the fans. Even, tonight, immediately after the game he took the microphone and thanked the fans again and again. He was basically recruiting them to follow him and the team to the Pinnacle next season. THIS is why he is such a good recruiter...........he is recruiting players, media and fans constantly.

By the way, the crowd WAS outstanding tonight. (Too bad the officials became such an integral part of it. They missed a good game).

Penn State downed Northwestern tonight which means that Nebraska will finish 10th in the conference standings no matter what happens in Iowa City on Saturday. Not something to thump your chest about, but considering the preseason expectations, an accomplishment nonetheless.
