"Nebraska will be the first college venue to have a true HD 6-millimeter, complete state-of-the-art scoreboard," Hinshaw said. "It has the right height, the right width and the right pixel sizes. It will be spectacular – the best board in college athletics."

I work in the video board business, and I am very surprised to hear this. The facility is truly going to be top of the line. Most college, and even a lot of pro, facilities only utilize the 15 mm displays. That's a world of difference. 6 mm between each pixel makes for a much, MUCH greater resolution than 15 mm between each pixel. Definitely opened up the pocket books on this one.
