Since 2008, Nebraska ranks 9th in most wins

What does this really show us though? We all agree that we are an above average squad. We are also the only team with 20 losses

The difference between us and those ahead of us - they all have won hardware - even okie state. That is why it feels worse than what it is. Hopefully this year

See post above (post #4)......showing we are near the top, but the elite of the top have separated themselves from the rest. Those are the teams we need to surpass to get back to the very top.

The number of wins is nice and all. It's the blow-out losses in big games that gets my goat.

 
Also goes back to the thread about the 2nd team to 1,000 wins. We have accomplished 1 more win than Texas over the last 5 seasons. Will be tough to get there before them.

 
All them wins and no trophies, ouch.
