New playoff name

They went with very simple this time. Just calling it College Football Playoff. And they are having a public vote for the logo.

Can't say as I'm impressed by any of it.

 
I'll take this over some stupid overcporporatized money-grabbing heavily marketing-based name any day.

Sure it's boring and uninspired, but at least it isn't stupid and/or gimmicky. THUMBS UP

Leave it on New years day. Many people have to work on new years eve and want to party that night. Now, at first thought I was thinking maybe the 31st that year was on a saturday. That would make some sense. But no, it's a dagnabit thursday. It just doesnt make sense. It seems like they go out of the way to make it rather inconvenient.
