Yep. There will be thousands at the Husker games and probably good crowds for the other games. I would even bet next years smallest crowd is bigger than this years largest.

I'm planning on being there, even if the Huskers aren't playing. We need to work hard to convince them to either keep it here permanently or at least on a regular rotation.

I think a Columbus/Omaha rotation is the way to go. Indy has a nice AAA park if they wanted to get in the mix too.

Oh yeah, I have family in Indy so I've driven by that park a few times, one of the top parks in AAA. That'd be a great choice every 2-3 years if the fans'd show up.

They outlasted us. Playing three games in two days showed up towards the end of the game.

Hell of an effort by the Fighting Erstads, and something to build on for 2014--Erstad whipped up a tournament feast with a cupboard that is only half-full...image what he can do next year or in 2015...

I loved watching the Huskers on TV all weekend. it was tough going back and forth between the Lady Huskers and the Fighting Erstads lol.. As much as I like the tough schedule we played but if we had played a slightly easier one I think we are playing in the CWS coming up. We are not going to get the kind of talent to play the schedule we played this year and be 10-15 games above .500. Thats just my opinion though.
