Kenya Hunter - New Asst Coach

After my share of research, I can't help but put it into this perspective........

Indiana or Iowa St comes in and steals Tim Beck for a lateral move as their new offensive Coordinator.

I think more so saying Watson becoming their OC is closer. I am jacked about Hunter but he was basically being forced out the door.

Not 100% on him.. but he was turned in to a scapegoat.

A scape goat for what? A finalist for NPOY? A top 8 tournament seed? A regular season conference title? They can't seriously pit the FGCU loss on him.

Hunter definitely doesn't agree that he was being forced out the door, and I don't think he was either.

"People thought I got forced out or whatever, but that's not true," Hunter said. "Coach Thompson knew when I went on my visit to Nebraska last week that there was probably a great chance of me leaving, so it was a case of him being proactive and making sure he was covered if I was to leave. I think it's win-win. My experience as a coach and recruiter can help Nebraska and Georgetown is getting two guys who will continue the success they've had."

Hmm I'm sure that'll be nothing like Mike Marrow recruiting the same kids to Kentucky that he did at Nebraska. :rolleyes:

Guess it depends upon your definition.

I have a hard time stomaching the words nice and Pedey in the same sentence structure.

Difference is, Marrow was recruiting a kid from here, that had already signed his LOI and has taken snaps. I could care less about the Safety we lost (forgot his name), I care about him recruiting Heard. Not that I am sad that he left, but its not something you do. Actually, I think its against NCAA rules to do that. Nothing will happen, because nothing will be said about it.
