This would be a good deal for the Celtics. Well, maybe in the long term. Nets are giving up way too much.

Also OKC needs to dump Perkins now.

I agree. They need a better low-post player. One that can score in the paint. Perkins is decent on the defensive end but, not so much on the offensive end.

Not exactly sure what the Celtics were thinking here. Obviously you want to unload the contracts and get younger but they didn't get much in return. Reggie evans and Gerald Wallace??? There had to be a better deal out there

Brooklyn has agreed to send three first-round picks (2014, '16 and '18) along with Kris Humphries' expiring contract, Gerald Wallace, Tornike Shengelia, Reggie Evans and a sign-and-traded Keith Bogans to the Celtics for Pierce, Garnett and Terry. That's pretty decent deal for the Celtics in the long run.

I guess Kanye West got his wish for Humphries to be gone from the Nets.
