HuskerBoard vs. husker_99

The early start time is only a disadvantage for us Husker fans
Didn't Bo mention last year that he didn't really like the 11am start times because the kids are still dragging a little that early? I remember him commenting on something regarding the early start time - just kind of generalizing things at some point last season or the season before.
Bo better get use to early games because the Big Ten are known for them. In fact the early games are mostly Big Ten. Sounds like Bo is making excuses.

Name the 11am games we've lost that he's "making excuses" for.

Now..I ask the same question you guys are discussing when talking about why Michigan never utilized Gardner instead of Bellomy (until after Dennard went down with a serious injury). What was Hoke thinking when he made Gardner a receiver instead of a QB!?? If you knew the talent was there and that he could shine at the QB position, why put him at receiver? Obviously they know more about the situation than I do, but was he really that much better at wide receiver?
(Close to) The exact same reason Jamal Turner is now considered one of the Huskers' top WR'. Michigan was maximizing the talent on the field, and got burned by not giving Gardner some reps at QB. People may have wondered about NU last year if Martinez went down (Armstrong=Close to) and Kellogg ,a walk on, came in and possibly struggled. They would wonder "why we played 'mobile QB' recruit Turner at WR..."(ps: I believe Kellogg is far and away better than Bellomy)
