We do Thanksgiving at my wife's parents, and when my family comes over I normally smoke a couple turkeys and make stuff to go with it. I spend the morning by the grill and perusing BF deals on the interwebs.

I'm shocked at the support here on Huskerboard for changing the black Friday game to Wisconsin (17 votes to 4 votes?). I'm all for sticking with Iowa. It's a border war, and part of a great year-end rivalry is the proximity of the hate. I'd be disappointed if they switched that game to Wisconsin. Something about Iowa feels right at the end of the season....

Great point. How enjoyable would it be to beat them 20 straight years?

 
I want to play whichever team wants to play us. So by default, I picked Wisconsin since Iowa is not interested. Personally, I would like the B1G to start scheduling like the SEC and get the cupcake non-cons further down in the season where we can take a little break from the grind.

Tell me you’re pulling our leg? :huh:

There never has been any build up to the Iowa game that I have ever seen. They have tried too (trophy and all) but even if Iowa was great, there is not the animosity that has already been established with Wisconsin. I get the comment above about traveling during holiday weekend when games are at their place, but other than that, this game could be an awesome lead in to the OSU vs. Michigan game just as it was stated above. I think the coaching at Wisconsin probably even got better with their new hire so I see this rivalry being something long term.

I've enjoyed the idea of playing Iowa the last game of the season since we joined the B1G. Personal preference I suppose. Don't get me wrong, I would enjoy that game being against Wisconsin as well.

 
I'd rather see us play Wisconsin, that's already a natural rivalry that hasn't been manufactured thus far by the B1G. Iowa isn't going to be a rival so if the want to wuss out and not play that game, good.............go away. Would be epic to play Wisconsin at the end of every year because that game could actually mean something where with Iowa.............it MIGHT mean something every 15 to 20 years. God I hate Iowa........
