Here is what is surprising to me. Why has it not been discussed that A&M will sit JM down with the AD, Sumlin, Compliance director, legal counsel, etc and vigorously interview him about these claims? This should have been done first thing Monday. If he says it is true - end of story. If he denies it, A&M should do its due diligence and if they want to play him, A&M should issue a statement that the allegations are false. It just seems this whole outcomes hinges on the evidence of cash being exchanged and the brokers cooperating. Why not just go right to the source, JM.

 
A&M's really gonna stick their neck out if they blindly stand by Manziel and wind up playing him for some or most or even the whole year. But what the hell. Looked what happened with Cam Newton. As if it wasnt completely obvious in that instance. Why not. It's the SEC. The ultimate NCAA no-fly zone.

 
he got his mercedes so he would not do something stupid to get it. still does stupid stuff. there is a moral here.

 
His little party schtick was funny at first, and I didn't mind it. Still thought he was a tool. But, now, I hope the flood gates open on him and A&M.
